Not long after the initial UGV tests, we started combining some of our earlier work, especially the reconnaissance bike, with the UGV platform.
The goal was simple - head into the desert and try new things. We mounted a RealSense camera, added LIDARs, tested different communication setups, and just started experimenting. Most of it was raw, early-stage research. Nothing polished. But that’s where good ideas usually start.
What we wanted was one unified system, a module or platform that could be attached to any kind of UGV. Doesn’t matter if it’s for military, agriculture, or scientific use. It should be adaptable, reliable, and able to collect and process data in real time.
