We closed my UAE story in Dolce - our favorite bar in Masdar City. It was the perfect place, with the people who were part of that chapter. I got a cake that said “Best of Luck Ivan”, and yeah… it hit me harder than I expected. That moment meant a lot.
I knew that the next evening, I’d be in my bed back in Croatia, and that a completely new chapter was about to begin. This was the end of Becoming The Mr. CTO - Series 1.
The next posts and articles will go deeper into building real products, entrepreneurship, freelancing, and everything that came after. But first, I needed time. I spent the first few months in Croatia just recovering - building my new workspace, renovating the apartment, and doing landscaping. It took almost half a year to get my mind back to where it needed to be.
Now, as I’m writing this in 2025, looking back at those photos… I realize one thing: I’m a f*cking hero for going through all of it.
